This past January when my nanny went back to graduate school, I decided my youngest was ready for full time pre-school/daycare. Creative Expression was recommended to me by a friend who’s children already attended. She couldn’t say enough good things about Anne and Myra over the years. Well I couldn’t be more happy!
What I love about Creative Expressions is that it’s the best of both worlds…being at home and at pre-school. The balance between appropriate curriculum and good old fashion play is perfect. My child is “at home” in a loving caring environment, yet she is being challenged through their diverse and creative curriculum. The art projects the kids create are amazing! The playground is fantastic, Miss Annie and Miss Myra make learning fun, and the kids even get to garden. My daughter has learned so much in the time she’s been there and she just loves it! My husband and I are so impressed with Creative Expressions, and has definitely surpassed our expectations.
All three of our kids went to Creative Expressions Home Preschool. They are all in elementary school now but they often talk about how great Miss Anne and Miss Myra were. They have such fond memories of this school. It is very warm, homey and nurturing. They have a great combination of classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teacher to student ratio is low which is great because it allows for the right mix of learning and caring and individual attention. The teachers are excited and enthusiastic and care about each child. All my kids were excited to go to school each day. They thrived socially and academically and were more than ready for Kindergarten. We feel fortunate that our kids were able to attend Creative Expressions and it’s the best choice you can make!
When our children’s pre-school closed last June, my husband and I were very worried about finding another superior program on short notice. By referral we found Creative Expressions. All our anxieties diminished in the first week. Our children (at the time, 2 and 4) felt comfortable and safe in their new environment. Anne Kennedy and Myra Watson are two of the most caring, creative, energetic, and dedicated teachers we have known. As a teacher myself, I appreciate the nurturing, stimulating, and educational environment they create. The small class groups, home environment, spacious outdoor play area, and classroom “pets”, make Creative Expressions a wonderful learning experience for our children and we feel so fortunate to have found it.
My son Nicholas has been attending Creative Expressions Preschool for the past 2 years since he was 2 years old. My wife and I were attracted to Creative Expressions because of the very small class size, the fact that Anne and Myra are the only teachers, and because Creative Expressions came highly recommended from a friend of ours. We could not be happier with the experience of having Nicholas at Creative Expressions. Anne and Myra are both amazing teachers and truly care about all of their students, who they treat like their own family.

The preschool creates a warm, caring, safe, and enriching environment for children. The commitment the teachers make to teaching and the rapport they build with each child is outstanding. My Son is always excited to go to school. Creative Expressions offers a nurturing environment, fun activities, and wonderful, caring teachers. Each child is treated as a special individual so that he/she can grow and learn to be the best they can be.
We chose Creative Expressions because the teachers really care about our child and his needs. The small, in home environment provides the balance we needed of play and learning to help our son develop the social skills and confidence to start kindergarten.
Our son had only received care from family. It was a big decision for us to let him attend an early preschool. We looked at more than 8 schools and found that Creative Expressions offered the right mix of love, care, and learning. Plus, this school offered the best teacher to student ratio. We didn’t want our son getting lost in a big school.
This daycare is the best place for your children to go and be safe. Very homey , the daycare is attached to the house of Ms. Annes. Very big garden and sandbox to play. Shaded area -huge canopy, thousands of toys, two good and really nice, caring teachers with a lot of experience; crafts, art , singing, performances, baking, learning about the numbers, letters and shapes etc.
Theme weeks; for example: all about the farm, helping with potty training, teaching manners, skills like tying shoelaces, memorizing own phone number, chickens, fish , birds and a vegetable garden, the experience & fun extras like a visit from the firemen with the engine.
Your child will be ready for kindergarten after being here but will be sad to go.
We have had the best experience at Creative Expressions. The school offers a comfortable, homey and loving introduction into the school environment. Our son never cried about going to school, not even the first day. Most of the time, it’s a challenge convincing him to go home. The small student/teacher ratio allows a tremendous amount of individual attention. This proved crucial for our son due to a delay in his language development. We feared this speech delay would inhibit him from keeping up socially and academically. However, he has just blossomed at Creative Expressions and has exceeded our expectations in all of his endeavors at school. We especially love all of the amazing arts and crafts projects that he brings home. We are looking forward to seeing more incredible progress as our son continues his adventures at Creative Expressions.
Creative Expressions is a hidden gem in Olivenhain. Tucked away on a cul-de-sac, the school is situated on over an acre of land. Only twelve children attend the school daily. The teachers are intelligent, creative and effective. Their program blends academic rigor with art and outdoor physical activity. My children loved their years at this preschool. They entered kindergarten fully prepared and enthusiastic about learning.
